DJ BLACK COFFE FOUNDATION

NKOSINATHI MPHUMULO who is known as DJ BLACK COFFE was born in Durban.DJ BLACKCOFFE has been in the music industry for so many years, but his first break was in 2003 when he produced a song called happiness which exposed him to international house music industry. He then later that year got selected to represent South Africa in SPAIN at the RED-BULL Music Academy. NKOSINATHI worked even harder after coming back from SPAIN by producing his very first album which was called BLACK COFFE in 2005, in 2007 he released his second album HAVE ANOTHER ONE in September 2007 and released HOME BREWED IN 2009 which they both sold gold.

DJ BLACK COFFE has been in the spotlight for about six years, doing gigs around the world and has made want to inspire more the youth of SOUTH AFRICA to believe in them and in everything they do irrespective of their background or their disadvantages. NKOSINATHI MPHUMULO launched the BLACK COFFE FOUNDATION on the 23^rd of September 2010. The foundation is an eminent tool to plough back to the very same community, country that has been a shelter for his success throughout his academic, career and life’s struggles and to improve the quality of life for disabled people, improve the quality of life for orphanages and create meaningful edutainment for the youth of today.

THE ANC SHOULD BE WORRIED.

The ANC has been in the comfort zone after they won the first democratic elections. The ruling party started   using their control power correctly by providing good service for everyone for the first time in South Africa. They started by building houses, they made sure that millions of people have clean water to their houses, they made the roads and they built more schools for most communities.

The ANC bought freedom here South Africa, because now we are called a Rainbow Nation because of the ANC. Everyone has equal rights, you can say what you want to say but it must not offend any group race or individual, individuals can go to wherever they wish to go to and Study in every institution they wish to study to.

But now ANC has made things difficult for them after the collapse of the part, which resulted to other members of the part to start their own political party. And that started decreasing the number of ANC supporter, and that incident happened just before the National elections in 2009. From 2009 and 2010 there has been a lot of strikes about the service delivery around the country and numbers of ANC member has been in the news for corruption and for not delivering.

Now the ruling party is been threatened by the increasing  number of DA supports who came from the ANC to join DA. And the DA is sending very strong message to the whole country that they should look at what DA did in the Western Cape and they will do it to other provinces as well and that should worry the ruling party in the coming elections on the 18th of May 2011.

PULLED OUT THE FIRE PRODUCTIONS.THE NEW COMPANY ON THE BLOCK.

Pulled out the fire is a new production company, which is formed by Media students at the Nelson Mandela Metropolitan University. This company will be doing everything from entertainment to artist management as well as event coordinating. Their aim as the Pulled out the Fire Production Company is to launch events, which will have diversity and elegance. The POT Fire production is originally based in Port Elizabeth but seeks to cater for the whole of the Eastern Cape’s audience.

This production company was launched in NG Kerk in Walmer on Tuesday the 10^th of May 2011. I must say that was a well-organized Launch which had stunning decorations, the models were good looking. They also had a guy called MBULELO to do a ten minutes stand- comedy which left everyone laughing.  

The company also seeks to recognize the best events, in field of fashion, spoken words, comedy and music, with elegance and a touch of funk. This is directed at igniting the Port Elizabeth social aura, as well as the whole province.

The Eastern Cape needs companies like these, because most of our artist believes that if you want to make it to the music industry you have to go to Johannesburg. Pulled Out The Fire Production will make things easy for Eastern Cape up- and- coming artists.          

Trevor's road to success.

Trevor Noah is a south african actor, comedian, presenter and the radio dj, who started with a comeo role on the SABC 3 soapie Isidingo in 2002. Trevor  spent two years hosting an  educational show and hosted a radio show  called Noah's Ark on Y fm. Mr Noah started working on television on one of the most watched celebrity  gossip show on SABC 1 called Real Goboza in 2007 and the sport show called Siyadlala.

Trevor Noah was the co-host with Pabi Moloi of the SABC 1 interactive dating   game show The Amazing Date from March and May 2009. Mr Noah continued his journey to success by hosting the 3rd Annual SAFTA Awards at the state Theatre in Pretoria in 2009. He also hosted a reality competitions series called The Axe Sweet Life from March to May 2009.

Trevor was also the host of the 15th and the 16th annual summer awards in Sun Citybowl n the 2nd of may. He then began hosting his own talk show show on M-net , called Tonight with trevor Noah, then his show moved to DStv's Mzansi Magic for it second season,Wich started on the 5th of Novermber 2010. Trevor openned for international superstar Russell Peter on of the top comedians in the country., charming audincences whith his comedy opening for Julio Iglesias on his tour of the and that being the only comedian in South African to have made cut  for the international audition of NBC's last Coming Standing.

Mr Noah's road to success has been the very long journey, even recently he was chosen to represent his country as the only local act at the Jozi international comedy festival that included six other heaadlining acts from 6 oyher countries. and that means he shared the stage with the Australia's biggest selling comedian Carl Barron and with Latino comedy legend Paul Rodriguez. And later this year Mr Noah will be going to the United  States of America to do some stand up comedies.

Bafana Bafana keeping it South African and going strong.

Bafana Bafana last won the competative cup, in 1996 when they won the african cup of nations here in South Africa. At that time the team was coached by a local coach, Clive Barker.

Then Bafana Bafana appointed Jomo Sono as the new coach in 1997, the team was preparing for the 1998 world cup in France. And that's when the team worst perfomance in competitions started, where the boys did not win a single game.

Things started getting worse when S.A.F.A introduced a foreign coach to our national team. That made Bafana Bafana to drop from the African Fifa rankings. And Even worse Bafana Bafana failed to qualify for the 2006 world cup in Germany.

Bafana Bafana started loosing their fan base, whereas people were no longer interested in watching the team games. The nation started questioning  S.AF.A's decision of hiring foreign coaches.

S.A.F.A took  a bigger decision by hiring one of the most experienced coaches in the world Mr Alberto Perrera, for Bafana Bafana just before the first confederation's and world cup, to be held on the African soil in 2010.  Most people were saying S.A.F.A was just wasting tax payer's money, But they turned out to be wrong. Alberto Perrera made the whole nation go to the world cup with confidence and the team got back their best support which the team lost after the Fifa world cup in 2002.

Bafana Bafana are currently number one  on the African cup of nations qualifiers log. And the boys has played 8 competative games under  the new local coach Pitso Mosimang and only lost 1-0 against the number three ranked country in the Fifa rankings United States of America. Bafana Bafana are planning to break the record, when they will be playing against Egypt this saturday at FNB stadium, because we never won against Egypt.

POINT 5 Making Their Point Heard in South Africa

House music has taken over the music industry with the bang, from the past five years. House music here in South Africa did not have a lot of air-play like kwaito and other genres of music, but now it is the most played genre of music in radio.

A lot of new house dj/producers are making it in the music industry. As we have our own group called Point 5, that is making the whole country dance like never before.

Point 5 is a group of 5 boys, who produce/deejay house music. They are individually Mr luu, Msk, Heavy-k and Q-base. They are well known for their hit songs called Planet 5 and My p.e.those two songs were featured on Mahoota vs Vetkook's latest album.

These boys are currently signed with the most succesfull record company, from Port Elizabeth called Bainaar Records which is also based in Joburg. Bainaar Records so far has produced Infinite boys and Audio piper, which they are also among the big dogs in the industry.

Point 5 is proving to be one of the best in the music industry, as everything they touch turns into gold. Lately the boys has produced a hit called Lento for a kwaito star Proffesor, and then valley for Dj Sox' album. One of their hit song called Planet 5 was number two for three weeks in a row, on 5fm powernites show, hosted by the house legends Euphonik and Fresh.

The Baainar boys are in demand nationally. Last month they were booked in Joburg and that has made them to start working on their album which is to be released soon.

Eastern Cape is finally making it in the music industry, As we all know that Eastern Cape was ignored when  it cames to music, whereas people who wanted to have a career in music had to go to Joburg.

 But things started changing, when likes of Ringo Mandlingos, Tando, Siphokazi and Black Coffe shaked the music industry which opened doors for other Eastern Cape musicians and deejays.

We  now have our own group called Point 5 from Port Elizabeth, which produce house music. Their songs are being featured on big national album like Mahoota and Vetkook and they also rocked the N.M.M.U campus life after-party. Now thats wassup in Eastern cape.
